November 2024 Meetup - Ian Castle and Harry Hall
For our final meetup of 2024 (unfortunately the room is unavailable in December), we're really happy to have 2 great speakers to round off the year.
First up, we've got a very special guest - someone who over the course of their career has been a great mentor to 2 of our previous organisers and one of our current crew. If you've ever met Ian Castle you'll know that this is going to be a great talk. We're all extremely grateful that he's come out of retirement and volunteered his time to speak.
Next we have Harry Hall - a graduate from Leeds Beckett University at the start of his career presenting a talk on piracy and how it relates to automation and containers. I've had a sneak preview of this talk and know it's going to be great.
We're meeting at the usual place and time:
The Cross Keys
107 Water Ln,
Holbeck,
Leeds
LS11 5WD
Wednesday 13th November, 7pm onwards (although some of us are often a bit earlier) in the function room upstairs.
As ever, if you've got a talk you'd like to share, just have a word with either myself, Laura or Glenn.
